Now in its fifth year, the online virtual event for crop growers and agricultural technology professionals is being held on 9th and 23rd of May.

As a business supporting horticulture and indoor farmers with innovative lighting and research-proven plant monitoring solutions, Light Science Technologies will be in attendance as a Virtual Exhibitor and Audience Engagement partner.

“Controlled Environment Agriculture & Indoor Farming is a fantastic event that brings so many great minds together to drive the industry forward and we are excited to be sponsoring their 4.0 event. We also look forward to connecting with agricultural peers from across the globe, sharing the capabilities of our intelligent lighting and monitoring solutions which can help them produce bigger and better crops” says Craig Price, Operations Director of Light Science Technologies.

With previous attendances of over 800 industry professionals from more than 300 farms, growers, suppliers, investors and industry companies, CEA Tech is a significant virtual event for both crop growers and agricultural tech suppliers.

CEA Tech aims to help address capability gaps, explore technological advancements, understand future trends in agriculture and allow attendees to gain operational insights and share best growing practices.

The two-day 4.0 event will have conferences on both ‘Solutions to Enhance Operations and Performance’ and ‘Solutions to Optimise Plant Growth’.

“CEA Tech is not just an important event for driving agricultural technology! With the conferences being easily accessible for anyone with a WIFI connection, it is one of the most accessible events in agriculture that connects professionals together from any location around the world” adds Craig.

Established in 2019, Light Science Technologies have been at the forefront of developing solutions in controlled environment lighting, crop monitoring and greenhouse automation used in commercial greenhouses, polytunnels and vertical farms.

Their aim is to help growers gain better control over their environment, allowing them to improve productivity and efficiency, and to grow more with less.

“By attending and supporting the digital event, we too hope to contribute towards discissions on optimising plant growth and agricultural operations for the future. We’re proud to have the opportunity to be involved and we hope to see you there!” concludes Craig.
