Controlled environment agriculture technology specialist, Light Science Technologies (LST), have announced they will be attending the annual Fruit Logistica trade show.

The worldwide event for the global supply chain of fresh produce is being held in the Messe Convention Centre, Berlin, from 5th to 7th February.

As a business supporting the fruit industry with innovative lighting and research-proven plant monitoring solutions, Light Science Technologies will be sharing their expertise with professionals from across the fruit industry.

“We are excited to be attending this year’s Fruit Logistica trade show and gaining the opportunity to connect with fellow businesses, producers and innovators in the global fruit industry. We look forward to sharing how our sensorGROW platform can help the fruit industry grow bigger and better crops” says Craig Price, Operations Director of Light Science Technologies.

With previous attendances of over 66,000 visitors from 145 countries, Fruit Logistica is a significant event that focuses on three key areas within the fruit supply chain: produce, technology and logistics.

Fruit Logistica aims to unite key stakeholders from every part of the fruit supply chain, fostering valuable connections within the industry while driving progress through more efficient and innovative approaches to fruit production.

“Fruit Logistica will allow us to discuss challenges with industry leaders and demonstrate how our technologies can help provide positive solutions. By attending such events, we hope to fulfil our mission to help revolutionise the way food is grown by offering smarter and more sustainable technology” adds Craig.

Established in 2019, Light Science Technologies produces technology which provides growers with the perfect ‘recipe’ of light and better insights on environmental conditions.

Their sensors are used not only used in (CEA) but also in open agricultural or broadacre fields.

As an attendee, Light Science Technologies align with Fruit Logistica’s division in agricultural machinery and technology with products.
